Why Did You Decide
to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Silvera was actually brought up around a lot of dentists. His uncle is a dentist, and his mother worked for dentists while he was a child, so he was able to see how a dental office really worked from a very young age, play with the lab models, and even witness firsthand how people’s lives were changed for the better in the treatment chair.
By the time Dr. Silvera graduated from high school, he knew that he was most interested in sciences and math (especially geometry) and was also pretty good with his hands, having built countless model cars/airplanes. With this information, he decided to pursue dentistry as a career – and today, he couldn’t be happier!
